Come out for a taste of Texas at Northwest Florida State College on August 7 at 4pm. It's a fun evening of Texas culture, music and food. This event is sponsored by the Emerald Coast A & M Club. TexasFest will merge Texas and Florida cultures and BBQ styles. Headlining the event is Granger Smith from Texas. Granger, (Texas A&M Class of ‘02), is an up-and-coming star in Texas country music.

 Boat Week is a weeklong celebration of boating, with the highlight event being the Emerald Coast Poker Run. The activities were designed for participation and enjoyment of our local community and all of our area visitors!
The Emerald Coast Poker Run is the Emerald Coast Foundation's flagship event and primary fundraiser. We have raised over one million dollars for local children's charities and youth organizations.

It's a drug-free, drug-tested bodybuilding and figure competition, it's at the Emerald Coast and it's here to stay! Come out and watch individuals from several different states ranging in age from teen to over 60, both male and female as they show off their drug-free physiques!
The prejudging portion starts at 9am and the evening (trophy presentation) portion starts at 7PM. See you there at the Niceville High School auditorium in Niceville on June 12, 2010! Call for ticket prices.

(75-years of Eglin pride) is the theme of this year's Air Show at Eglin Air Force Base. The Air Force's precision flying team, the Thunderbirds, will perform along with other talented aerial demonstrators at the two-day event. Static displays, food vendors and fun for the entire family.
